UOW renAIssance Events
The renAIssance program will feature a range of events throughout the year for the UOW community. These may include forums and workshops, project presentations and demonstrations, provocation sessions with sector leaders, and other engagement activities showcasing emerging practice across the university.
This page features all current and upcoming events across the six renAIssance domains and priority projects in one place.

From March 16 through to April 2nd, all UOW staff are invited to attend one of ten online roadshow sessions to learn more about the initiative, why UOW is undertaking this work now, and how colleagues across the University can contribute.
There is no need to register — simply join the session at the day and time most convenient for you.

UOW renAIssance Week – November 2026
The program will culminate in UOW renAIssance Week, a university‑wide showcase held in November 2026, featuring:
- Presentations and demonstrations of project outcomes
- Showcases of emerging practices from UOW students, academic staff, and professional staff
- Opportunities to engage with the six renAIssance domains and their project teams
- Interactive sessions highlighting how AI‑enabled innovation is shaping the future of learning and teaching
