About renAIssance Events

The renAIssance program is a major University of Wollongong (UOW) initiative transforming learning, teaching, and student success across six strategic domains: Assurance, Assessment, Success, Capability, Employability, and Design.

Throughout 2026, the program will feature a suite of engagement opportunities for students, academic staff, and professional staff to support collaboration, experimentation, and capability building across the renAIssance project portfolio.

  • Building community around AI‑enabled learning and teaching
  • Showcasing discipline‑specific experimentation and educator‑led initiatives

UOW renAIssance Week – November 2026

The program will culminate in UOW renAIssance Week, a university‑wide showcase held in November 2026. This flagship event will feature:

  • Presentations and demonstrations of project outcomes
  • Showcases of emerging practices from UOW students, academic staff, and professional staff
  • Opportunities to engage with the six renAIssance domains and their project teams
  • Interactive sessions highlighting how AI‑enabled innovation is shaping the future of learning and teaching
