Phase 2: Design, Build, Review
Phase 3: Run, Evaluate, Rerun
Phase 1: Course plan, proposal & scoping
Comprises preparation of the formal short course proposal, including identification of short course aims, learner characteristics, and desired outcomes. This phase also includes development of a project timeline and high-level design of outcomes, assessments and sequence of learning activities and content.
Phase 2: Short course development
A series of repeated iterative cycles in which the short course materials are designed, constructed in the learning platform, and reviewed to ensure alignment to the course scoping.

Recommendations for course delivery and post-delivery evaluation activities.
