Guidelines for best practice in communicating with current students

Communications play a crucial role in the student experience at UOW. The UOW Student Relations Team, in consultation with various stakeholders from across the University, has put together a document containing information for academics about communications to students.

The document aims to guide staff on:

• communication best practice;
• the appropriate use of UOW’s key communication channels, based on student feedback;
• the appropriate use of student data; and,
• the types of communications sent to students, so that consideration can be made about prioritising messages that are important to a student's educational journey.
